Organ carrier, Van or Mini?

Organ carrier, Van or Mini?

If you gig with your organ or keyboard, you will be aware of the problems in moving large instruments.  If you play organ and have to move one around the country you will need something bigger than a normal passenger car. We want to hear from you if you play concerts as we want to know what vehicle you use to transport your instruments. If you play a Tyros 3 you could gig using a mini or smart car! But if you have to move a Roland Atelier or Wersi Louvre, what do you use?

Tell us what car you use to take your instrument out with! We assume that the old reliable Transit Van will be the most popular, but we could also be wrong!

UPDATE
We  have just had a call from a friend of ours who giggs with a Hammond organ and drums - and he has advised me that he actually rents vehicles if he is playing concerts of any great distance. It would seem that the cost of vehicle hire now is cheaper than putting wear and tear on your own vehicle. Many van hire companies now have an unlimited mileage which means you can drive to Inverness and back! A good idea, but how many gigging artists look at the running costs of gigging?
