We don’t really report news from the pop world, but It is incredibly sad news that Michael Jackson today (25th June) passed away after collapsing at his home in Los Angeles. Aged 50, the king of pop was taken to hospital, sadly reported having had a heart attack.
He was due to perform a come back series of concerts in London next month. Large crowds are gathered outside his home, and this musical genius will be sadly missed by all. His music had a significant impact on the world and his music was popular within the organ and keyboard world, with many of his songs performed by musicians around the world.
Thriller is still the worlds biggest selling album, and he will always be remembered as one of the worlds biggest names - he changed the history of popular music.
