Yes, very sad news, but Wersi are in financial trouble.
The German based organ manufacturer who has already been through this before on a few occasions filed for provisional administration of their assets on 30th December 2009. This is by no means good news for Wersi customers, as it is the first step towards closure unless things can be turned around.
As serious Wersi enthusiasts, we considered not posting this information, but we also consider too serious not to make public. This information came to light this morning and is on many other German forums with much concern of course.
Of course we sincerely hope that this is NOT the case, and we do wish the directors at Wersi the very best and hope that they can turn their bad fortune around - we will keep you posted. Hopefully the next item we post is that the company is back on track, but of course, we will keep you informed. We would like to thank a concert artist who contacted us with this news and confirmed that this was factually correct. We have of course done our homework and here is the announcement below.
